Meet

Hello, we are BounceFire.

Our goal is simple: create value-added websites for entrepreneurial businesses. We provide web strategy, web development, creative and internet marketing services. While developing an online presence may seem lengthy and complicated, simplicity is our focus.

We call Bellevue, Ohio home, with our second home being the Dublin Entrepreneurial Center in Dublin, Ohio.

Dedication to Entrepreneurs

We like working with entrepreneurs because they are the innovators, the revenue generators –the fire starters – and our commitment to small and mid-size businesses supports that understanding. Just look at some of the creative companies we have had the pleasure of working with.

Team

We work hard to maintain a group of true "Rockstars" to deliver the best experience to you, our partners. Check out some of the BounceFire team below and don’t be shy – send us an e-mail or connect with us elsewhere.  We love talking to real people.

Zach Ferres

Zach Ferres

Our fearless leader. "I'm really just a mediocre college student. No, Seriously!" At 23 Zach is definitely not your average college student. Founder and owner of BounceFire, Zach is a computer science and mathematics double major with a minor in entrepreneurship. Zach is team player and a true believer in "We" not "Me." He started BounceFire as BounceHost in 2007 and says that if he went bankrupt and had only $10 to his name, he would probably be forced to go get a “real job.” Zach enjoys participating in triathlons, biking, running, swimming and weight lifting when he is not working at BounceFire. He attended the 2009 INC. 500 conference where he networked with some of the best entrepreneurial minds in the U.S., and is also a fan of social networking via LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

Rick Bodey

Rick Bodey

Rick is a magician with both actual tricks and SEO.  While earning his MBA from the University of Akron, Rick signed on with BounceFire to put his skills as a search engine optimization wizard to the test.  Rick has experience with PHP, ASP.net, PERL, system administration and late nights with tall cans of Monster energy drinks. You always want someone like Rick Bodey around. Someone who miraculously comes up with great ideas, who is willing to try anything, and who can entertain the group for hours.

Matthew R. Bonfiglio

Matthew R. Bonfiglio

While Mr. Bonfiglio may be our resident Human Resources guy around the office, he's certainly no Toby. Mr. Bonfiglio is a graduate of the University of Toledo with a B.A. in business administration and a concentration in human resources. He is the man who keeps us on our toes and off of unemployment. A compulsive analyzer and thinker, when Mr. Bonfiglio does take time to relax he likes to hang with his wife, Savannah, and his two wiener-dogs. His favorite BounceFire experience so far has been watching Zach's attempt at HR. Everyone has their weaknesses. An enemy of the word "um" and all other verbal fillers, Mr. Bonfiglio describes himself as being "very personal. I'm not afraid to open up and put myself out there." It's a good thing too, because then you would miss out on interacting with him on Twitter and his blog.

Tobias Deardorff

Tobias Deardorff

Bang! Zap! Tobias Deardorff is BounceFire's resident superdude. A junior computer science major with a minor in exercise physiology, TD spends his days running cross country and his nights fighting his nemesis, the word "No." When he's not crime-fighting, he is mastering languages such as Java, C#, C++, C, Javascript, HTML, CSS and of course Drupal. In addition to English and whatever they speak on his home planet that makes ten languages folks! What he likes about Drupal is that you can quickly and easily put a website together and have as much control as you want or need. A driven individual, TD enjoys learning new things and tackling any challenges that come his way. He also enjoys project managing, and meeting with clients.

Matthew Giacomazzo

Matthew Giacomazzo

Matt G. is a web designer and developer from Newark, OH by way of Maine. He’s our “maine” man. Matt is a graduate of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a CSS guru, works with HTML and has a vast knowledge of everything multimedia (including graphic design and video editing). He wields his mind like a great Terran soldier. Matt is a fan of computer gaming, StarCraft in particular, and he is a skilled pianist and composer. He also enjoys movies, hiking and tinkering with technology. He is driven by the opportunity to produce high quality work and loves that he is challenged daily at BounceFire. Always willing to learn, Matt has quickly embraced Drupal; he’s even planning to redo his personal site with it.

Evan Roberts

Evan Roberts

Evan is our local social media nut (case). A public relations major, he's all about the social world. Ask him about Twitter or blogging and be prepared for a diatribe. He tweets for fun, pings out of habit and can't seem to get away from Facebook. He's like the tech cousin you've always wanted, except he couldn't code his way out of bed. Evan also serves as a copywriter. In addition to using words far above his pay grade, Evan's interests include cooking, singing, fashion, and the beautiful game of soccer. He's also a great listener, which is good for our clients and first dates.

Gregg Shanefelt

Gregg Shanefelt

Acceleration is the perfect word to describe Gregg, and not only because it is his favorite. Whether he is mastering marketing or competing cyclocross with the Zephry Wheel Sports team, for Gregg, it is always go time. A business administration major, Gregg pushes boundaries with his knowledge of SEO, CRM and email marketing. He also enjoys snowboarding and bike polo. Some how, he even found the time to begin learning to develop android applications. Gregg loves working with creative groups of people, which is one of the reasons he fits in so nicely here. Gregg also keeps going with steady amounts of caffeine, so if you want stellar results, do like we did and bribe him with coffee.

Chris Franks

All beef and no filler, Franks is our financial prodigy. Graduate from the University of Akron with a BS in financial services, the accounting books are his playground. If hes not in the gym pumping iron, Chris can be found playing Call of Duty while trading stocks online, simultaneously. Dedicated motivator and team player, don’t be caught slacking off in front of him or you might be told to “Just do it.” Working through the night doesn’t phase Franks one bit. A Red Bull will provide him the means to dominate any nocturnal conquest. Remnants of blood, sweat, and tears are sprinkled across his keyboard. Hardcore is how he rolls, just like his 401k.
